Our distributor, Singapore Cadence Company currently reached a preliminary intention with the Ministry of Civil Defense; the government intends to order several groups of unmanned helicopter systems with DJI-XP3.1, for the investigation and estimation of hazardous incident etc., to improve its response capability of such situations.
According to the speech by Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affaires at the Civil Defence Academy Auditorium on 15 May, SCDF(Singapore Civil Defence Force) is currently undergoing trials with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). UAVs can be used to detect and provide instant information on chemical and radiological materials, and toxic industrial chemicals. The surveillance capabilities can give ground commanders a 'birds-eye' view of the incident,it can provide useful information as the reference to officers in this area.
