1.What functions can XP3.1 realize?

1) Autonomously hovering with high precision;

2) When autonomously hovering, the helicopter attitude and position can be locked. Flight velocity in one direction corresponds with a given Tx stick volume, so that users can control the flight in a “fool-style” (control of only one channel is needed at one time)

3) Under locked attitude, with the help of XP3.1, operators can easily control the helicopter to do the turn coordination.

4)Automatically adjust inaccuracy generated during hovering and flying.

5) The main differences between DJI XP3.1 and the stability augmentations based on CCD sensor: DJIXP3.1 can fly at any attitude within the remote control smoothly, without height and surface texture restrains. No frequent switching between various modes, the speed can be accreted to 0.1m/s or less.

6) Automatically turn into hovering state when the receiver signal is lost (enter the fail safe mode)

2.How precisely can XP3.1 system control the helicopter? How strong wind can it resist?

Hovering position precision in the condition of breeze (wind speed being less than 3.3m/s), vertical: ±1m, horizontal: ±2m. Maximum wind resistance: 5.5~7.9m/s

3.What are the differences between XP3.1b and XP3.1a?

XP3.1a has only one control code version, and is configured with XP configure 1.2.2, while XP3.1b has different control code versions, and is configured with XP configure1.3.3.

For XP3.1b, the corresponding maximum speeds, forward-backward and left-right, when the Tx stick is pushed to the limit can be adjusted. The forward-backward maximum speed can reach 16m/s and the left-right maximum speed can reach 12m/s.

XP3.1a has no gimbal control function, while XP3.1b with control code versions of 31005 and 31006 has.

There is no serial number with XP3.1a, while there is a serial number used to upgrade the product for paid additional functions with each set of XP3.1b, such as gimbal stabilization function.

XP3.1a has no attitude mode, while XP3.1b with control code versions of 31004, 31005 and 31006 has.

4. What are the maximum flight speeds the main controller allows? Can they be adjusted?

For the system after version 3100X, the corresponding maximum speeds,  forward-backward and left-right, when the Tx stick is pushed to the limit can be adjusted. The forward-backward maximum speed can reach 16m/s and the left-right maximum speed can reach 12m/s. However, for the safety consideration, the corresponding maximum speed of upward-downward when the Tx stick is pushed to the limit cannot be adjusted. Both the upward and downward maximum speed are 2.5m/s. If some customers think the descending speed is not large enough, they can pull the stick to the bottom position. This will not affect the throttle of the helicopter, because the throttle is locked when customers switch to the auto mode.

5. How can the system realize the function of navigation? What is the operation principle of XP3.1 system?

DJI XP 3.1 system provides excellent auto hovering and flight performance by using GPS/INS inertial navigation technology which is widely used in cruise missiles, and advanced control algorithms.

6. Is the XP3.1 system able to do the aerial photography/videography for the night scene without any bad influence on the system itself in the evening?

Yes, it can conduct aerial photography/videography for the night scene without any bad influence on the system itself. Customres can take a look at the night scene videos on DJI’s website, which are taken using the XP3.1 system..
